The following is a listing of the major initiatives that Meta-Business consultants were involved with at the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA):
- Initial design and implementation of the Standardized Accounting common business platform (1998). This platform included integration into the Registration system, Business Client Communications system, Collections system and Disbursement system.
- Reengineering and integration of Corporate Suspense into the Standardized Accounting common business platform (1998).
- Reengineering and integration of the Corporate Taxation revenue line into the Standardized Accounting common business platform. This included the design and implementation of the Cortax assessing system, as well as the integration of these systems into the SAP-based Revenue Ledger (2000).
- Adherence of the CRA to the government wide Financial Information Strategy and full integration of all legacy systems into the SAP based Revenue Ledger (2001) for accrual based financial reporting purposes, and, the Public Works and Government Services Canada Core solution for the control of funds.
- Reengineering and integration of the Excise Taxation revenue line(s) into the Standardized Accounting common business platform. This included the design and implementation of the Other Levies assessing system, as well as the integration of these systems into the SAP based Revenue Ledger (2003).
- Reengineering and integration of the Goods and Services Tax revenue line into the Standardized Accounting common business platform. This included the design and implementation of the GST Return and Rebates assessing systems, as well as the integration of these systems into the SAP based Revenue Ledger (2007).
- Design, development and implementation of the Tax Payer Services Decision Support Services Database. The system was conceived to provide a single source for information pertaining to the utilisation of the CRA’s web-based Smartlinks technology (2008).
- Reengineered the CRA’s Product Catalogue database system to provide for an upgrade to the DB2 database system and online access through the CRA’s intranet Infozone (2009).
